No amount of beauty treatments or remedies can bring that radiance on your face if you do not take proper rest. Your exhaustion reflects on your skin and makes it look dull and lifeless. Healthy eating habits play a vital role in keeping your skin healthy and glowing. Avoid the consumption of junk food and switch to healthful food. Green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, cereals and pulses must form a part of your daily diet. Foods rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin C and E and proteins are especially good for the skin.

Drink a lot of water

It is essential to have at least 8 ounces of water each day to stay hydrated. Water flushes out all the toxins and wastes from the body to make it work more effectively and give your skin a natural glow.

Cleanse your skin regularly

Rather than going to the beauty salon to undergo a rigorous cleansing and scrubbing session, it is recommended to cleanse your face every day before going to the bed. Make it a routine to clean your face with a cleanser and warm water to get rid of the dirt and impurities and prevent oil clogging. Use a clean towel to pat it dry.

Hold a steamy cloth to your face for a few minutes to allow the steam to enter the pores. Next, use a good foaming cleanser to get rid of excess oil and dirt. Now use a toner to balance the pH of your skin and then apply a good moisturizer. Make sure you choose all the products as per your skin type.

Besides cleansing, toning and moisturizing, it is also important to exfoliate your skin with a good scrub. This helps in getting rid of the dead skin cells. You must scrub your face at least once a week.
